This Accessibility Statement applies to the website of A Corporation GmbH ("aGYM"), accessible at www.agym.co ("Website").

1. General description of the services offered by aGYM

aGYM is revolutionizing the traditional fitness experience through a radically digital and liberating approach: "Everything via App". We offer state-of-the-art gyms focused on what trainees really need – uncompromising and straight to the point. Our studios include specialized, fully equipped training areas such as the Athletic Area, the exclusive Lady Gym, as well as spacious Cardio, Strength, and Freeweight areas. At aGYM, there are no paperwork hurdles, no hidden costs, and no rigid structures. Our concept is thoroughly liberal: from registration to checking in at the studio, everything is managed 100% digitally and effortlessly via smartphone.

The aGYM website serves as a minimalist, digital gateway. It is intentionally stripped down to the absolute minimum and primarily acts as an entry point for downloading the aGYM App. Navigation is intuitive, clear, and avoids complex submenus. In the footer, visitors to the website can view legal information (Imprint, Privacy, Terms) as text-only pages.

2. Further descriptions and explanations of the website's functions

Since the actual service of aGYM is handled via the application, the website's functions are limited to the following essential elements:

2.1. Welcome Animation (Welcome Screen)

When the website is loaded for the first time, a purely visual loading and greeting animation appears, welcoming visitors in various languages and transitioning smoothly to the main page.

2.2. App Download and QR Code

The central interactive element of the website is the redirection to download the aGYM App. A highly visible QR code is provided, which can be scanned directly with a smartphone. Alternatively, there are linked buttons for the "Google Play Store" and the "Apple App Store", which redirect users to the respective platforms to download the app.

2.3. Audio Greeting Message

The website features an integrated audio player with a personal voice message from the CEO, Jacob Fatih. The player is easy to operate using clear, visual buttons (Play/Pause, progress bar).

2.4. Informative Subpages (Legal)

Via the footer, users can access static subpages (Imprint, Privacy, Terms). These pages consist exclusively of clearly structured text on a high-contrast background and contain no complex interactive elements. This facilitates readability, especially when using assistive technologies such as screen readers.

3. Statutory requirements for aGYM's services

The aGYM website is a service in electronic commerce in accordance with Section 1 (3) No. 5 BFSG (Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz / German Accessibility Strengthening Act). It must therefore be barrier-free according to Section 3 (1) sentences 1 and 2 BFSG, i.e., findable, accessible, and usable for people with disabilities in the usual manner, without particular difficulty, and generally without external assistance.

To ensure this, it must in particular comply with the requirements of Section 3 (1) sentence 3 and (2) BFSG in conjunction with Sections 12, 13, and 19 BFSGV. Websites must therefore be designed to be perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust in a consistent and appropriate manner.

When fulfilling the requirements applicable to the website, the state of the art must be taken into account. With regard to websites, according to Section 1 (4) BFSG, the BFSG does not apply to:

  • pre-recorded time-based media published before June 28, 2025;
  • office application file formats published before June 28, 2025;
  • online maps and mapping services, provided that for maps intended for navigational use, essential information is provided in an accessible digital manner;
  • third-party content that is neither funded nor developed by, nor under the control of, the economic operator concerned;
  • content of websites and mobile applications qualifying as archives, meaning they only contain content that is neither updated nor edited after June 28, 2025.

4. Manner of fulfilling the statutory requirements

This website fulfills the statutory requirements by applying the harmonized European standard EN 301 549 V3.2.1 (2021-03). In particular, conformance level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.1 is applied.

Due to the minimalist design (dark mode) and lean programming, the website offers the following accessible features in particular:

  • Very high contrast (light text on a black background) that significantly exceeds the required minimum ratio of 4.5:1, maximizing visual perceivability.
  • A distraction-free and consistent structure (one-pager layout).
  • Operability with alternative input devices (e.g., keyboard navigation).
  • Compatibility of the text-based subpages with screen readers.
  • Alt texts for images and essential graphic elements.

5. Market Surveillance Authority
